Dr. Raches Ella

Dr. Raches Ella is a physician-operator and investor with deep experience in building and scaling life sciences platforms across R&D, manufacturing and regulatory affairs. He is a medical doctor and an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School with academic training at Emory University and Johns Hopkins University.
He currently leads global vaccine and therapeutic R&D, medical and regulatory functions and serves as Managing Director of Sapigen Biologix and Director at Biovet. Dr. Ella led the development of two COVID-19 vaccines —COVAXIN and iNCOVACC — from concept to Emergency Use Authorization in under nine months, demonstrating rare execution speed in biologics development.
Through Skegen, he applies an operator-led private equity approach, focusing on platform creation, regulatory de-risking and scalable manufacturing.
